This battery powered piston actuated pneumatic seat cushion has been 10 years in development by orthopedist Joseph Navach and engineer Robert Felton. They have joined forces to create a company called Numotech. The cushion is designed to automatically inflate and deflate different sacs in the cushion to automatically shift the users weight. Expected retail price is between $500 and $750, and the device is expected to come to market in about 2 years.
