This personal digital assistant is designed for use by people with a wide array of cognitive disabilities, including people who are non-readers. The system is designed to be both therapeutic and compensatory. The device delivers organizational and procedural verbal prompts, and requires user acknowledgement on its touch screen. This device appears to be very versatile and requires an in depth description I am not willing to go into here. For more information, read the interview in Business Week on-line at http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/feb2002/nf20020220_0378.htm or go to the Cogent Systems web site at http://www.cosys.us/ where there are downloadable PDF brochures. There is also a narrated power point presentation available if you request it.
